JBS 77 Prestonsburg 75

Featured Replies

First, I don't mean to take anything away from the good team JBS has this year, which may be able to beat every team in the 15th on a given night. But . . . . . . .

Second, there are more than 3 teams in the 15th Region.

Third, Pikeville, Prestonsburg and Shelby Valley aren't even the top teams.

So NO, JBS doesn't own the 15th any more than one of the top 15th Regeion teams that could take out several 14th Region teams!

If you still believe this, then you know nothing about 15th Region basketball this year!!

That made absolutely no sense!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway, JB is a very good team!!!

It makes perfect sense doubledribble!! Beating 3 so so team from a Region does not mean a team owns that Region. If you can't make sense out of that statement, then no wonder you think that JBS owns the 15th!!

They are 3 and 0 against the 15th, if that is not owning them, I don't know what is.

What if a 15th region team came over here and beat 3 of the lower 14th region teams. Would you call that owning the 14th? (When they haven't played PCC, LCC, KCC,Leslie,Lee,Hazard,Estill or any of the top teams)

In a couple years JBS will own E-Ky .they are very young and very well coached .

You could be right bigswan, but only time will answer that one. I'm sure there will be a lot of other teams that will have a different position than yours though.

I don't think I would go that far. JBS will just have to prove it's self with time. Too many good teams out there to take it that far. They are young and have the talent, but time will tell..

What I believe he is meaning is dubbledribble is "that if you want to be the best, you got to beat the best"

Prestonsburg led by 4 with 20 seconds left, but JBS fought back to tie it and took the victory in OT.

this is not accurate. Prestonsburg hit the shot to tie the game sending it in to overtime. JBS led by as much as 13. There were many fouls , many walks, and a lot of time consumed .

Gotta a chance to see JBS. They are a nice team. Interesting to see how they matchup with Perry Central. Good luck!

Just what I was told by a Prestonsburg player.

JBS is a good team and could probably beat anyone on a very good night! BUT they are not a top 5 team in the 14th and they wouldn't be in the 15th either! In my opinion, that means that while they are good, they own no Region!

We know, Paintsville is the best yada yada yada......................

Right Nothing But Net ?

I'm sure LC would disagree.

JBS is a top 5 team in the 14th and would be in the 15th. They beat Pikeville by 40, they also beat Pike Central and Sheldon Clark handily. They are not a powerhouse but they are a very solid club.

Bring it on. I think JBS is a top 5 team in both Regions. Time will tell. I'm not saying they own any region, but they are in the top 5 in the 14
