I listen to Matt Jones usually if I'm driving, and man he hates the Cards and would love nothing better to stir anything up against them. The friday before the Cards beat the Cats he was so boastful, I made a point to listen to him, on Monday and it was funny.

 

I told my family/friends after the Cards lost to Marshall. "The Cards defense gave up two series (drives) the whole game, their "D" played well enough to win, but the play calling is horrible". The Cards well could be 4-0 right now. But losing your most experinced QB had to hurt and not many teams do well with the true freshman, to be fair to the guy who was let go.

If I recall correctly, Matt Jones didnt say who the fight was between.

Again, if this happened with UK basketball, would the LHL or CJ report on it? If Cal & Orlando Antigua got into a very, very strong disagreement that resulted in Antigua's dismissal, you don't think that would make front page LHL or CJ news?

 

LHL was all over Billy Clyde for kicking Dusty Mills off the team. John Clay or Mark Story (not sure which) wrote a very candid article that dealt with many of the rumors regarding BCG, basically going down each rumor one-by-one. Bozich feels a "Cal envy" article is newsworthy, but what has he said about this incident?

While I don't know specific details, I do know for a fact it happened early in the week. My boss at the UC site had the info Wednesday morning, so Tuesday would seem to be correct...

I seriously doubt a heated verbal altercation would result in Sanford getting fired. I would imagine arguments and the like are common among staffs in the heat of the battle.
