Northern Kentucky 6A could finish out interesting. While there is not a team appearing to be clearly the best, no one likely advances too far in the playoffs. Regardless, I could see this district having an interesting finish this season. Wouldn't be shocked to see the district champ from here with two district losses, very possible.

Wow, really shocked that its just automatic that its going to be Highlands/CovCath for round 2. Based on this past weekends outcome of the game between these two I would have to agree but I hope CovCath isnt overlooking Holmes.

Geez, if that happened and Holmes wound up the second seed that would put CovCath back down in Johnson City trying to avenge last yrs lost.

Highlands would love it, because one of the two would eliminate one another and leave Highlands on a much easier path then if CovCath finishes 2nd and then yes Highlands would have to beat CovCath again (no pun intended) in 2nd round and then have JC come to Ft Thomas for another classic.

Who said it was automatic? I just said it would be on everyone's mind, which it will.

 

And if HHS and CCH finish 1-2, then the rematch would be in Round 3 if it happens. If CCH finishes 3rd, then the rematch with HHS would be in round 2.

 

I guess one has to ask himself, do we want HHS (assuming HHS wins their District) in Round 2 or 3. Hmmm! You could keep from traveling a far piece down into KY. Or would you do that in round 1 anyway. I don't know. Just pondering.

That's ridiculous! So if and it won't, but if Highlands lost, that was hard, before they could rematch with CovCath and CovCath went on to win State, then it doesn't mean anything. You don't want it. Child please!!! Wow with that mentality, then HHS needs to give back most of their titles.

This Friday's 3A matchup with the (#3) Paducah Tilghman Tornados hosting the (#6) Fort Campbell Falcons should be a good game. Fort Campbell is stepping into their potential now and isn't the same team they were last year.
