Simon Kenton 7 Holmes 6

I agree that Knox is out of position, i actually thought Holmes was going to recover the bad snap in the end zone and win 2-0, i do know that one of the starting lineman didnt evenplay football last year, they also have a new head coach and many new assistant coaches, it is good to see that there are about 50 players on the roster though, should beat Pendelt on and maybe Harrison, but will be very long night against Highland and Cov Cath, just a bad for year for the class changes for Holmes, they have a very tuff schedule with New Cath coming up already played Beechwood, of course Cov Cath and Highlands, they play Cooper next week, that might be a decent game, Simon Kenton is also young at a few positions, especially Qb and center, i thought they would just give up on the long snap last night and go under center, give both teams credit they played very hard and good luck to both teams, also someone had posted number 74 did not play that is correct and he is a freshman, Holmes will get better.

I think it is time SK gets a hold of some SK alumni to teach the SK linemen some blocking techniques. Because they are not learning how to block right now. The 3 former SK players in mind are listed below. SK needs coaching help fast!

Matt Coppage- Ohio University- 4 year starter, 2006 1st team all-MAC

Sean Funke- Northern Arizona University-2 year starter

Mike Webster-University of Kentucky-2year starter

Is there a new staff in place this year?

Nope same average coaches.

Every team as up graded their coaching staff accept SK!

I do accept SK's staff. Hard-working staff.

Glad the staff are not members of BGPS. :idunno:

Holmes defense ran right past SK's O-line untouched most of the game. It all starts with coaching.

coaches are scape goats so many times. Players have some responsibility too.

Isn't he a 17 year old freshman?

Is this the football equivalent of the 1-0 baseball game?

NO! He played in the BCPWFL last year. That means he did not turn 14 before Aug. 1st last year.
