Pendleton County 2011/2012

Featured Replies

Junior Jackson Strong is no longer on the team, so I guess that means he won't be a contributor off the bench for Pendleton County.

Did he transfer, decide not to play?

He decided not to play.

For Christmas tournaments, they're in the Oldham County tournament that Eastern is in and Ashland's tournament that features Clark County, Christian County, Lincoln County, and of course, Ashland.

The AIT as we called it when I was in high school. Would love to play PC then as we do not have a regular game in the season scheduled. I knew of us and Christian Co in the tourney but besides Ashland didn't know who else was. Thanks!!! Best of luck this season, will be keeping up with the Wildcats.

Very good point. It's sometimes a different ball game when you have a target on your back.

Pendleton County will indeed be a very tough out come March. A lot of returning talent, and I personally think having a court-savvy, experienced, steady point guard goes a long way in the postseason. Monroe provides all that and a little bit more for the Wildcats.

I give Montgomery County an edge, but PC isn't far behind.

I agree 100%

Word has it that former Cat's Mason O'Hara, Jon Elrod, Keaton Belcher (Key player's from the last region title winner from Pendleton Co in 05) along with a few other's from past team's have been running pick up games once a week against current players. If true sounds like a great experience, and a solid tradition from past to present being built in Falmouth.

Keaton Belcher will always be one of my favorite players from PC. Last I heard he was at EKU working with their basketball team.

AIT field also includes Woodford Co., Warren Central, and Rowan Co. and Lincoln Co.

Yes, he is. He will probably contribute some on varsity.

What time is the SK/Pendleton scrimmage? Is it at Highlands on Saturday?
