September 3, 201115 yr Today I broke down and got a new car. Well its not exactly new, but its new to me. But today I just went and got a pre owned Cadillac CTS and man just after the trip back from Ashland to Pike County I have already learned one thing, I now know why the say "runs like a Cadillac". I mean man is it sweet and man does it drive so incredible. Anyone else have any experience with Cady's? I think I'm now hooked for life.
September 4, 201115 yr What year? If its pretty new changing out a burned out turn signal bulb can be a pain. Mine was a SUV. Well equipped. You will enjoy it.

They are really nice, my dad is into Cady's so I have had some experience. Also I would say it is all relative to what you have been driving and you will find there are other cars out there that will give you the same wow feeling up from the Cady. But the Caddy is an awesome car!.
September 4, 201115 yr Author Sweet car. Are you going to have a winter alternative? Yeah I have an 99' Isuzu SUV that I couldn't let go of for reasons like that. Plus I like going up in the hills too much to let go of it considering its awesome four wheel drive.
September 4, 201115 yr Author The car is an 05' by the way. Not brand new, but for just turning 24 Friday, its definitely all I need at this point in time.
September 4, 201115 yr Author I want to get a caddy! I have always like the CTS. Me too, I have loved them ever since they started making them in the first part of the 2000's. Not as big as your usual Cadillac but very good size for a sedan.
September 4, 201115 yr Author Tell you what I like almost more than the new car is the new XM Skydock I just purchased. In my Isuzu I have a Jensen pop out screen DVD player and I used it to play MP3 cd's on it that would hold over 30-40 albums or 1000 individual songs on one disk. I mean I had all of this music at my finger tips. Considering I never listen to the radio, that was key for my everyday travel. However, the Cadillac just had single CD player and the built in XM radio model is the old technology and no longer available for subscription. Knowing I would now need to make dozens of CD's to fit my musical needs, I broke down and purchased the XM Skydock (after stopping six different places on the way from Ashland to Pikeville) and couldn't be any happier. This installation was easy and I did so in the radio shack parking lot. You just basically plug the arm into your cig outlet and then dock your iPhone/iPpod into the dock. You download an app and subscribe for subscription and then your ready to go. Got all the SiriusXM stations streaming off my phone through fm transmission. Also plays songs from my phones Ipod over cars stereo through fm transmission. Needless to say it was easily worth the $120 that I payed for it. Took an already nice interior and put it over the top IMO. Anyone else seen these or had any experience? Few of my buddies had the regular iPhone docks that used the fm transmitter to stream your iPod stuff, but first time I'd actually seen the XM Skydock in person. I know the regualr Belkin fm transmitter docks are like sixty or seventy bucks so it was worth it to me to step up and pay the extra 50 for SiriusXM capabilities. Had no idea they were so hard to find though (all docking stations).
