Gemma is one of my favorite characters. I hope she doesn't die. Gemma still deserves the respect of the club. She is after all the person to bring it to Charming. Also, she took a serious beating for defending her family, including Tara.

 

 

I don't disagree. I just think the Tara/Gemma dynamic is as deep as the Jax/Clay dynamic and that it won't with a hug.

So we all thought the finale was weak/lacking/anti-climactic...whatever you want to call it. BUT...we all will be watching the Season 5 premiere. They've left lots of storylines open for us to wonder about. I did not see the cartel and government thing coming like most of us, except for SF. I did figure they'd keep Clay alive...too big of a character to get rid of.

Opie will be there in some extent I feel.

 

I LOVED the way Potter exited the show. Just dropped a bunch of rubber wieners and ball gags on the table and left. PRICELESS!!!

 

Is Bobby going to be the new Otto?

 

How does Tig deal with being "demoted" from Sgt. at Arms? Speaking of Tig, what will happen with the Niner's...and since the woman killed was the daughter of a big time gangster are we going to get a new threat to the club?

 

I felt a feeling come over me at the end that I did not like Gemma anymore as she was standing in the doorway to the "chapel". Don't know why. It's Tara's position now I guess.

 

I know most of you disagree with me on this one, but I'm happy Juice is back in the clear.

 

AND WE NEED MORE OF HAPPY'S CHARACTER NEXT SEASON!!

Maybe that season 3 finale spoiled me.

JCVD-I liked the episode and I am also glad Juice is back in the clear. That suits me fine. I do still like Gemma but her days are numbered.

 

Tig being demoted and Clay still being alive makes you go hhmmmmmm.....

I just feel like the writers dug themselves into a hole and tried to do way too much. And when it got too out of hand for a clean finish, they gave themselves an out with a reset button. Deus ex machina...

I kind of agree. The writers had a choice to make. End the series this year/next year or keep it going. It got renewed and then they added the extra episode. They had to hit the reset button. There are a bunch of storylines for sure but they are in a position to set the show up for a couple of more years as opposed to ending the show this year or next year.

This season was so much better than last, but definitely ended with a thud last night. I find myself wanting to watch Season 1 to see something that never lets me down in any way. Started strong, stayed strong, finished strong.

I had forgotten about Jax putting his rings on John's grave until last night. Thought that was cool how they brought those back to show he was staying.

Sounds like the Cartel aren't going to be quite as big of a storyline next season as they were this year but still involved. I'm guessing they have them in there as a problem for the club while a lot of the story will be internal problems for the club and the big time gangster from Oakland who's daughter was killed or hurt by Tig.

I’d love to bring back Danny, yeah. And the gentleman who played the lead Irish guy is just a phenomenal actor. I’d love to bring both those guys back, and Benito [Martinez]. Definitely that relationship will continue. I don’t know if we’re gonna play out a big cartel dynamic and threat, but to continue that story we set up, we definitely would need to keep them in the picture.
