The announcer talked about how to keep an eye on a #55 Lamar Dawson, that he would see the field in this game. Guess they where just as suprised.

 

I thought going for the 2 point conversation in the first quarter was a very bad coaching decision. USC was lucky that bad decision did not come back and haunt them.

#54 is a very good linebacker, so it's not exactly an insult to Dawson that he didn't see the field. His time is coming soon. You don't give a kid #55 and sit him the whole year.

I agree. I didn't get to see the game yesterday but Galippo was very impressive against Minnesota.

Yes. I watched the whole game and he was in on 2 series. One in first half and one in the second.

 

First half series he made two good plays of turning the ball carrier back into the defense.

 

Second half series Utah scored while he was in there. He came from the other side of the field on a long naked boot leg play and tried to push the receiver out of bounds but was a step behind him (again, came from a long way away) and kid ended up being tackled at 1. On next play the Utes ran to his side and he stuffed his hole but the back went inside him for the TD.

 

I don't think he got a tackle but was in on some plays.
