Yes, he teaches at one of the middle schools I believe. The kids love him and he has a real handle on what he is doing. It was an excellent hire by Coach Thompson and the Boone County powers that be.

He always seemed like a kid that had his act together which shouldn't be a surprise as his dad seems to be in the same mold. Good for the young men of Boone.

As Ryle's game progressed last week, they gave the ball more and more frequently to #38 (Colin England) and he did a terrific job with his opportunities. I would guess he's in line for a bunch more touches this week. Tough kid to bring down and good speed.

I've only seen the one game and it wasn't anything overly impressive, but it's early and it looked like they were still trying to decide on a QB (rotated two of them).

Last week #7 and #16 (I think) rotated quarters. Were neither of these the regular QB? I thought #16 threw the ball fairly well.

#3 & 16 are QB's, if throwing ball up for grabs for interception TD, is good ok then. Dump to #38 out of backfield was main play. I think #3 is starter.

I didn't think either looked particularly good, but again it was their first or second game and I'm sure the coaches are still trying to get kids in the right spots and figure out which plays work best. I just thought that #16 had a stronger arm and threw a nicer ball overall. Not that #3 looked terrible or anything. Both QB's also got a lot of pressure and tough to throw accurately under those conditions.

From what I have heard Boone has a solid frosh team.. Ryle not so much..
