August 25, 201115 yr Seeing as how football is really starting to gear up, I was curious to hear how things are going in the Northern Kentucky Middle School league and what is left of the Northern Kentucky Youth League. All we have really heard about so far is the Walton team from Birdsfan. Anyone have any updates/information/results and or schedules?
August 25, 201115 yr I know CovCath 7th and 8th both won there first game. The 5th and 6th grade start this week in the new NKY Gridiron League. CovCath has almost 200 kids play in the four grades.
August 25, 201115 yr I know NCC killed Turkeyfoot this past Thursday at Dixie..Eric Anderson at qb and Jacob Smith at rb looked good for the Baby Breds..Harris and Schneider played real well on defense also..

The Union Jags 7th grade is taking the Taylor Mill Eagles Senior schedule this year. The Eagles don't have a senior team. I know the Jaguars beat the Newport Firefighters yesterday...It was a really close game going down to the last play..

The roster they handed out at the game said Union Jags 7 on it. I called them "Cooper," but only because that's what our schedule said. Not sure if it's all one and the same.
