Final from EKU. The game was 0-0 at the half but Boone dominated the 2nd half. Southwestern really struggled on offense and special teams.

Nice win for Boone.

This game was on TV tonight. Pretty boring first half but Boone looked really solid in the second half. Southwestern seemed confused on offense this evening.

Congrats to Boone Co. Isn't SW supposed to have a good team this season.

Well they were picked in the top 10 in Class 5A. And losing to a 6A school certainly isn't bad. But it seems like they annually under-perform from preseason expectations. We'll see if this season is any different.

They have a new QB. I hope SW does well but I do not think they will live up to the preseason expectations. Boone County maybe 6A but should not have beaten a Top 10 5A school 28-6.

You guys are saying boone is a bad 6A team?

I'm not. They should be very competitive in their district, which has five solid teams. They were impressive this evening, dictating a lot of the problems that Southwestern had.

Not me, I think Boone will be right in the middle of their NKY 6A district.

Great start for the Rebels. How did Kamron S to in his first start at QB?

Oh I am not. Boone Co has always had my repsect. Watched them for years. Good luck the rest of the season.

I hope BC gets back to being a strong program, it can only help their NKY counterparts. Any changes in the BC offense?

Well Kameron had 2 td passes and should have had another if not for a drop. When was the last time BC passed for 2 tds?!

Good win for Boone. Congrats.
