katbird
Pretty good game. Trinity is huge...as usual. They had a defensive end that was probably 6'5 235..Game was tied at half 7-7..I was impressed with Josh Watson before he got horse collared and was taken out of the game. Urlage and Weyer also had a nice game..

fatsnbul
I don't think he did. He got injured last night and I thought someone said he would be held out. But not sure.
BigBaller
Some quick thoughts on the Highlands - Trinity Freshman game today. 1. Defense played great, the 3 scores they gave up were all in short field situations. I look for this unit to continue to improve. 2. Why does Highlands go for it on 4th and long in the second half when they had a chance to pin Trinity deep while still only trailing 14-7? The Highlands defense pretty much kept Trinity in check the entire game. 3. Does Feggins change the outcome of that game? 4. Nice block by Whitford on the TD run by Watson, good things happen when your WR's make blocks down field.

day tripper
He has yet to even practice with the frosh. I really doubt he sees any frosh time.

tcjkbt
Evidently, they played on August 20. Anyone got any lowdown on this very early game?
horst muhlmann
#47 and #50 on Trinity's defense were causing havoc with the HHS offense for much of the game. It was a good test for the young birds. Trinity was playing with short fields for much of the game. Trinity ran back the 2nd half kickoff to the HHS 10 yd line and scored on the 1st play from scrimmage to begin the 2nd half.
rocktopper
I was at the game and both team s looked good at times. First game mistakes kept game even for a while. Bluebird QB had some nice passes and a few good QB keepers. Also, the highland kickoff return guy had great moves and frustrated the Rock covarage team. Rocks have some really good players on both sides of the ball, RB # 32, Jailen Reed 5’9 180 ran the ball really well. QB, #16 Jacob Woosley made good decisions. Defensive end, #45 Conner Foos 6’3 210 and linebackers, #13 Vince Lococco 5’11 180 and #52 Damon Lowe 5’10 195 were in a lot of plays. This freshman Rock team has a lot of size, speed and talent. The future looks good.
