She did and Stewart was on the mark in pointing this out . Great video and like her new look . On a side note went to Kings Island 's Water Park Thursday and the woman in line behind us was from New Jersey . She definately was a 40 year old Jersey shore ,Snooki wannabe .

At 3:10 she talks about the US being in the dark ages in maternity leave. At 3:19 she says that yes, men can get maternity leave under the Medical Leave Act, at 3:20 she say they call it MAternity leave for a reason and at 3:34 she asks how it's discriminatory to give less time to the man that didn't deliver the baby. So, I'm correct, she doesn't now say she thinks they should get the leave or the same amount of leave. She simply states that they CAN get time off under the act. I missed nothing, you guys are doing what Stewart is trying to do, spinning it.

Jon Stewart makes a stretch. Seems almost desperate to try and insult Fox. Compare a mother going through recovery and taking care of her newborn then going back to work with someone on welfare not working at all. Kudos.

What does one have to do with another???? The government is paying NOTHING during maternity leave. Most companies pay NOTHING during maternity leave except for any accrued pto. One is funded by us taxpayers, the other isn't. Help me out here.

This is not maternity leave vs. Welfare. This is a government regulation v "letting the market decide". The Family Health and Medical Leave Act (i think i have all of the words in the right places) requires that businesses give maternity leave. It is a government regulation. It also requires paternity leave (unpaid, I think in most cases, but people are guaranteed a job when they return). The market that she loves so much would not allow it and women would have to choose between children and work which they did for so long. Jon is simply pointing out her hypocrisy in regs. v free market.

It was meant to be. Overall, Jon is about as funny. Well not quite, Jon is a little funnier on average.

I quit watching Stewart about the same time I quit listening to Rush. I can't understand why any one serious about learning about candidates, elected officials and issues confronting this country puts any stock in what either of them say.
