Problem with the above is the time delay drives me nuts when I attempt this.

Seems like if you are watching on satellite or HD, their delays would help close the gap between the radio delay. Especially HD on satellite.

Cueto doesn't look the same after hyperextending his leg.

Sorry to disagree with you on something else EZ, but actually I think Thom often goes overboard in criticizing players. The problem I have with with Thom is many times his critical comments are knee jerk, inaccurate and off base. Now Chris Welsh ... true, he is not one to criticize and usually has to be prodded into it when he makes any kind of critical comments.

We can agree to disagree on things. I just think Thom is a yes man myself.

Is Stubbs knee injury a minor thing?

Cueto didn't look comfortable at all running to first. I hope that leg doesn't prove to be a problem later.

Cueto gets on by error and Heisey gets a hit and Edgar drives him in.

To me Thom is an excitable boy ... he hyperventilates on whatever goes on. If it is bad, he goes overboard on criticism. If it is good, he goes overbaord on hype. He has become very irritating to listen to. Not bad enough that I would want George Grande back ... , but he is headed in that direction.

I agree with your assessment of Thom. I do NOT want Mr. Nickname back though. I can deal with Thom.

3-0 count to a .211 hitter, runner on first, down by 2 and he swings away. Wow. Did manager of the year Hurdle give him the green light!?!

Nice comeback by Cueto to get the out and get out of the inning.

Pittsburgh is doing what they can to help the woeful Reds offense out.

6 hits and 1 earned run

6 hits and 1 earned run

Exactly ... two of the Reds runs are a result of Pittsburgh errors.

One out double by Cairo. You gotta love the guy. He rarely swings at a bad pitch and grinds on every at bat he gets. Let's see if the Reds can get him in with one out....

Nope. Cueto made out #2 with Cairo showing heads up play again by getting to third on a grounder to SS.

Then Heisey makes out #3.

To the bottom of 7 with the Reds up 3-1.

I don't like the smell of this game. It wouldn't surprise me in the least to see the Pirates tie it or take the lead in the 7th inning. I hope Dusty has both barrells loaded in the bullpen and ready to jerk Cueto at the first sign of trouble.
