Just a loaded class for such a young group. I just talked to one college assistant this evening that said 2014 is the most talented group in KY in the last 10-15 years. Starts at the top with Russell who a lot of people consider is the most talented KY kid since Rondo...

The Louisville Magic were a very fun group to watch. They should change their team name to And One because of all the and ones the get in a game. I'll be keeping an eye on all these kids in this class.

Ky All Stars sweep of Indiana in 2014?

Let's not get carried away just yet. A bunch of high major 2014 talent in Indiana already as well...

I'm pretty sure I read that Kelan Martin picked up his first offer last week from IUPUI.

Really liked what I saw of him in Bloomington 2 weekends ago. High major prospect if he continues to develop his wing skills...

I'm not. That's why I put a question mark up there. A man can dream can't he?:D

I do think it is a fair question if Ky is sending 8 to the camp and Indiana is sending 5.

I will say it would seem to be a much more level contest this early in the process compared to the past and near future. At this point KY has the best player in Russell, so that's a start...

Little early on that prediction of Ky taking Indiana in 2014.

What prediction? I posed a question.

I'll take it.:thumb:

Would love to see KY Select play the Magic. Select wins IMO. Really surprised the Magic kids played in the U15.

I was thinking that when watching them play but why play up in the state tourney if you don't have to? They can now go play in the nationals in the 15U division and surely they will run into teams just as athletic and skilled as they are at some point in the 15U division.

Would be very surprised if the Magic team goes to Nationals. I think they were put together for a weekend. We shall see. I think the KY Select beat a good Indiana Elite team with Snider, Martin and Owens by double digits last weekend in Bloomington. Jalen Avery locked Snider down and he only had 8. Hatton went off for 29.

That'd be too bad. I'd love see how they fare against equal talent in their age group. The Ky Elite Kings kept it close for a little while against them but even they were eventually outmatched.

I think Ky Select is stronger physically compared to the Magic. I don't know how the Magic would have fared in the 16U group. Probably Final Four but who knows. I am glad I got to see them when I did.
