I agree it's a bit confusing, but there is no difference.

Maybe Obama needs to let Israel know before opening his mouth about dividing up their country.

The same thing, I never liked Bush either. IMO I doubt Israel really has to have our permission to do anything. They are in fact pretty capable of protecting themselves now.

 

I just dont like how Obama comes out of the blue stating what Israel needs to do. Obama doesn't own Israel, as a matter of fact IMO most form Israel do not like Obama for various reasons.

 

If he said nothing wrong, then way did he the next day meet with Israeli groups backtracking what he meant.

 

Why dont he turn to a more serious matter over there like Syria.

Near as I can tell Obama said go back to 1949 borders, period. Bush said go back and negotiate changes from 1949 borders. Is that right? Seems the same to me but I don't see anything on Israel getting ticked at Bush's statement. Is this other people's understanding?

Again, this shouldn't have surprised them. The ENTIRE WORLD told them (and have been telling them) to do this 40 years ago with UN Resolution 242.

If it was such a big deal with the UN, why havent they fixed it.

Good speech by Bibi today. I don't agree with all of it, but this is as "ready to negotiate" as he's ever sounded. Just have to see if he can back it up.
