I do trust some things the gov has done, but years of lies makes it hard to believe in a lot they do. Too much corruption IMO.

 

Every Pres has doen some good, followed by some bad obviously.

 

I think Obama has done faily well so far on a few issues.

 

I hate how our Gov lets big business run our lives.

I aint sad or depressed. I am very happy because I know there is nothing I or you can do to change anything and what is going to happen is going to happen with out my approval or yours.

Iillegals are illegal adn something must be done to fix immigration and secure our borders from drugs and would be terrorist coming in.

 

Full support for our military because they know more about what is going on out there than I do.

Dependency on oil has to stop, who is getting rich? It is countries that do not support us.

No, but it is a topic within our country that will eventually have to be addressed fully.

 

I think global warming should be the biggest issue. When the world is on self destruct, terrorism wont matter. We are doing it to ourselves.

I heard a surprising comment from a rather liberal radio personality this morning that he thought it odd that Obama didn't really acknowledge the Bush administration for their part in all this and that he mostly spoke about the last two years. That being said, I haven't seen the interview as of yet, so I'm only going by what he said. My view is that both presidents played a part in it and both deserve credit. I truly hope president Obama sees it that way as well. I would guess he does.

 

I would as well. Obama doesn't have to hold a press conference to sing the Bush administration's contributions praises. He called him after we got OBL and invited him to Ground Zero with him also. We also have no idea how long they talked and what they talked about. I would think they had a productive and engaging conversation.

Some say that gays would do better at marriage than heterosexuals do. I am for gay marriage simply because I have no right to tell my neighbor how to live their life and they also should be able to receive the same health benefits that my family receives. The fact that a gay couple can adopt kids but not get married is kind of stupid, IMO.

 

I am with you on global warming as well as a few other of your points. I am not as cynical as you though and believe that our government performs with the people's best interests at heart. I think the public has no idea of the kind of decisions our government is confronted with on a daily basis and that none of us would have a quick answer like we think we would if we were presented with evey single fact.

I get that it's a morality issue for you. I'm asking you how it impacts your life in any way, shape, or form?

I feel so sorry for some of you, do you really think the lives of the seals was the most important thing on his mind. He was more worried with his poll numbers if something bad went wrong. And THANK GOD nothing went wrong and we killed UBL and NO ONE was hurt.

He's the President of the United States, and our miltary's commander-in-chief. The well-being and safety of those under his command have to be one of his utmost concerns. It was a tough call, as some have noted, and there was no guarantee that the mission would be successful.

 

If he had given the mission a go and something had gone wrong, you would be among the first slamming him for it.
