Reminds me of this story; I've probably told it before. The star running back at Ohio State was failing his basic mathematics class, and was in danger of being suspended from the team until his math grade improved. Coach Tressel begged the math professor to compromise. "If I give him a math test on Friday and he passes, can he play on Saturday", the coach asked. Reluctantly, the math professor agreed. After Friday's practice, Coach gathered the players in the locker room and explained the situation. Looking at the RB, he asked, "What is two plus two?" After giving it some thought, the young man answered "four." As one, the rest of the team rose and said, "Coach, please give him another chance!"

April 2, 201115 yr I watched him several times in high school and told everyone I talk football with here in Ohio he was overrated I.M.O. he did not do much at Ohio State on the field or in the classroom. I hope he turns out to be the kind of plyer his fater was.

I tried to tell the OSU guys on here that this was exactly what I heard before he committed, some wouldn't have it.
April 2, 201115 yr I got the same thing from most here too. They had never watched him play and I had so I felt I was more knowledgeable on this then they were.
April 3, 201115 yr Just read some stuff about him. Most fans are excited about him coming. The kid knows some of our coaches Bobby Williams was mentioned. His dad knew Bobby and that helped him getting to Bama. Also having kids playing for us that had dads in the NFL. Barry Sanders son has visited us several times. Glad to have him, hope he does well.

April 3, 201115 yr Did he play for the Buckeyes last year? If so, I still don't get it. No, don't think he played much at all when he was at OSU. After his first semester, he had a terrible GPA and would not have been eligible.
April 4, 201115 yr Yes, both guys above are correct. He can play in the fall . He has three years to play two.
