It was very beneficial for those able to participate. I think the spring game is great motivation for off-season workouts. The kids that really work can see their gains on the field.

They don't work hard enough, obviously.

I'm curious. Why would Trinity not have spring practice?

Spring Practice definately has it's benefits, but here is my question, how many out there honestly pick up in July, where they left off inmid- late March? I'd be so much more for spring practice if it was actually allowed in the "Spring", as in, late May/early June. Granted, those that start after March 21st are going in the "spring", but for the vast majority, it should be called Winter Practice the way it is now.

I don't know why they don't spring ball, but I do know they are out there everyday in June practicing against each other. Then they get a break during dead period, then start back after dead period.

 

My guess would be they don't want to deal with a Spring Ball game. Slot of coaches go out and worry about the spring game more then trying to get better.
