Not only is coach Miller a very good coach he is a even better person and has shown nothing but class in spite of all the silly scrutiny played out online despite winning the A twice, region finals appearance and now a region championship in his 3 years. There is alot of talent there but sometimes alot of talent is hard to coach for various reasons. WV should be proud to have some a classy person who is also a good coach.

 

I have to agree! Coach Miller has done a wonderful job of cleaning up the mess the previous two coaches left him to deal with. Coach Miller and his coaching staff do a great job. WV you should be proud and good luck at Diddle.

Here's a thought about the All Tournament Team...there's too dadgum many! 15 for an 8 team field? 12 should be the max.

I agree that there should only be 10 but sometimes there are teams that don't deserve one. If a team gets blown out in the first round and no one from the losing team shines, should they be given one just for making an appearance? I don't think so. Just because you get to the tournament, it doesn't mean you are entitled to an all-tournament selection even if it's not deserving.

There was a committee formed by the host school that selected the All Tournament team. The A. D.'s and coaches had nothing to do with it. No coache nominated anyone. There is no formula. The committee was not required to pick someone from each team. Please don't blame it on the coach if your kid didn't make it.

I don't think I read anybody blaming anyone in this thread. Just simply asking how the process works.

Just trying to set the facts straight to end all the speculation. Once again, the coaches had nothing to do with the selections.
