10th Region question

Featured Replies

If I have heard correctly, the drawing will be Saturday. What exactly happens at these meetings? How is the drawing done? Can a district champion and district runner-up be on the same side of the bracket or are they put opposite each other? I would just like to know how it works.

A District Champion plays a District runner up in the first round, however the runner up in your own District cannot play you until the finals. For example, GRC could theoretically draw Augusta, and Montgomery County would be put on the other side of the bracket so they could potentially not meet until the finals.

I know they are not seeded, but do they draw for positions (or spots on bracket) and then once the winners are placed, they draw for their opponent. For example, GRC draws the first game on Thursday night. They draw and pick Montgomery County. Since they cannot play Montgomery they draw again and draw Augusta (example only). Will that be the opening game. I am just curious as to how all this works.

I also have a question for the Mason Co fans, as the region is at Mason and hopefuly you can answer these questions. What accommendation do you have for handicapped? Person on crutches and/or wheelchair. Can arrangements be made for special parking? Where is the best place for them to sit? Thanks in advance for any info you can give.

I think the parking right out front is reserved for that very reason, you might want to call and ask. I know they have two people there watching whoever pulls in, so I'm sure it's faculty only, handicapped, etc.

I just hope that Clark and Mason are opposite sides of the bracket again, no disrespect meant to any other 10th schools, but a Monday night showdown would be the proper way to close this chapter of the rivalry.

No disrespect, but I hope they are on different sides of the bracket and both aren't in the final game. So if one should lose before then, it'll take away the, " if they were not in the same bracket, they would have played for the championship". :D

Heard from a reliable source at MC that with all the success the good people of Northern Kentucky had with charging $5.00 for parking for the 10th region All A tournament, this will be the first time the 10th region tournament will be charging to park. It will be the same amount that gas prices will be by then($4) and will be applied to the ticket prices at entry.

So in essence EVERYONE is paying $4.00 to park and not 4.00 per car....right? WOW. Didn't the All A just charge $3.00 per car?

So how much are the tickets going to be?
