Is it a 9th region tourney or more like an invitational similar to the frosh where a few outsiders (Scott-Simon) make the cut to the event too?

If I had know the who, when and where of these games, I would have posted about them (like I did for the Frosh tourney) but at least on my part, I didn't know who or when they were playing, until almost the day before the games. Far too many teams were not playing their games in a timely manner due to their JV players playing minutes for their Varsity teams.

 

If the JV Tourney wants to get the attentions that the Varsity or Freshmen Tourneys get, they need to set dates, times, and locations of their games and stick to them! JMO!!

Is this conner jv team for real?

Congrats to Conner but Clyde this had to be one of the worst jobs I have seen a crew do in years and I would have said the same thing if CovCath would have won. It wasn't fair to either team to have these men Ref this game. It was just a down right poor job and I think that any Conner fan who attended this game would agree with me.

 

Worst I have ever witnessed in my life. Only one word. Sad.

My understanding is that every 9th region team does or can play in it. Unlike the frosh tourney where one school hosts it the JV games are played when they can be played. I know I reffed a regular season JV game that also served as the JV tourney game. They have the draw before the season starts and then they play when they can and then once the next round is determined they figure when they can get those games in. For example, NCC has a regular season game scheduled Monday. Should they win today that regular season game will be cancelled and NCC will play Conner Monday.

Holy Cross is up by 10 at half over NCC in the semi.

NCC should win this tourney, they have the best coaching. Grosser, Dupont, Schulte, Siebert are a very solid core.

Im very surprised by this. Did HC dress Thompson for the JV game. I know he's a JR who started the JV game vs Highlands then started the Varsity game with Avery out. I am curious how many Jr's the Indians have on their JV roster. Broering also I believe played JV vs Highlands and then sank like 4 three's in the Varsity game.

Broering is a Senior does not play JV.

 

HC starts 4 juniors on ths JV including Thompson and has one Junior that sits.

Holy Cross v Conner @ 6 @ CCH prior to the frosh championship.

Conner plays Holy Cross @ Cov Cath. 6 pm. Nice rematch from last night's OT game. That was Conner's second game after a very emotional game against Cov Cath (tournament game) earlier that same day. I look for a rested Conner team to win this Championship game. Should be another good ball game.
