What's on Your Bucket List?

Featured Replies

I have finally decided that I really want to make a Bucket List.

I have quite a few things written down and will share some of them later, but I was wondering what some of the BGP family has on there's whether you have already accomplished them or not.

When pondering this question I'm reminded of the following exchange:

Peter Gibbons: What would you do if you had a million dollars?

Lawrence: I'd tell you what I'd do man...

Most people can probably fill in the rest. :D

Questions like this lead me to think of the following exchange from Office Space.

In the short term, I'd really like to go sky diving.

In the long term, I'd love to go to Australia.

When I was at Ft. Knox I had a drill sergeant who made us make a bucket list of 100 items so needless to say I have quite a few things on mine. In addition to the ones already listed in this thread (skydiving, Australia), a few things would be to attend a Super Bowl, World Series, and the World Cup, go to Oktoberfest (the real one), bungee jump, hit a hole-in-one, and run a marathon.

I would love to go to Skywalker Ranch.

I have made a list of about 30 so far, but will only post a few

1) Go Skydiving

2) Drink a beer in the Cheers bar in Boston

3) Have a "Grandpa's Chair"

4) Give a Best Man's Speech

5) Visit Auschwitz

6) Go to the Olympics

7) Eat a Primanti's Brothers Sandwich in Pittsburgh

8) Build a treehouse for my kids

1 - Run with the Bulls in Spain

2 - Take the Euro-rail system from the bottom of Italy all across Europe, ending in Scotland

3 - Attend and Opening and Closing Olympic Ceremony

4 - Attend a World Cup Soccer game

5 - Cruise around the world (have seen most of it with the Navy - NOT the same thing)

6 - Stand in Red Square in Moscow

7 - Take a tour of the Vatican

8 - Sail the Intercoastal Waterway

9 - Stand on the Great Wall

10 - See the sunrise over the Taj Mahal

- Go back to Iraq in 2 decades and see if all the years I spent there worked out for good.

I definitely want to go to a World Cup. I'm tenatively planning on going in 2014 to Brazil.

I've been to the Taj, it is a truly spectacular sight.

I want a pit boss at any casino to ask me to leave because they can't beat me!

My buddies and I have been throwing this idea around as well.

I crossed one off last week when I finally got to see Kobe play at the Staples Center.

Hahahahhaha......

Man I love Office Space. :thumb:

Few things I would love to do...

Go to a World Cup (was really hoping the US would have got that 2022 bid, but I guess going abroad would be even more memorable.)

Watch a Cowboys game at the new Cowboys Stadium.

Watch a Cubs game in Wrigley.

Play a round of golf at Augusta National. I think for an average golfer costs around 2500 for a round of golf there with green fees, sure hope cart is included. :D

Attend a Super Bowl

Attend a Final Four with Kentucky playing.

Visit Europe.

Ride a bull.

Go to a "coffee shop" in Amsterdam.
