I believe you. It's just a bad deal.

Gotta fight through whatever the circumstances are... should be a good test.

Old gym, usual Lex Cath refs = GRC has a tough way to go. I can see LC winning this one.

Agree, will be hard for GRC to win this road trip.

I just hate it that not many people are going to get to see this great matchup.

Already blaming the gym and the refs. Just play the game and then be happy, or blame someone or something else after the game. Sometimes the players actually have a say so in who wins or loses.

GRC will be fine. At the end of the day they just have to go out and play basketball. They are the better team and if they play to their potential it wouldnt matter if they played this game on the roof. LexCath is always a tough team to beat because of their defense. It should be a great game. Its time for Grc to man up and show the rest of the state this isnt the same Clark County team of the past few years.

Well just got the official word.....the game is going to be in the old gym[/b]. Got to dig out my short sleeve clothes and shorts as it will be hot in there.

Also confirmed that the Scott game has been canceled for Feb. 12th. GRC coaching staff looking for a quality opponent. When the team becomes final I will let you know.

Hope that they are able to work something out with the Ballard coaches and get a game with them. That would be an awesome matchup.

What are they using the newer gym for?

A live feed on the Jumbo Screen for those that don't get there early enough to find a seat.....in the gym.....down the hall. They're talking about charging admission for this too!

The old gym at Lex Cath is a classic!!! The players from GRC should take on a positive mindset about it, it's a shooters gym. Stenzel should absolutely light it up in that gym. GRC should in my opinion have a huge advantage on the inside with Rogers. They need to attack the 2-2-1 press and finish with layups, can't be tentative.

Lex Cath will shoot well in the old gym as their kids basically grew up on that floor.

What are they using the newer gym for? Could someone snswer that question, please.

They played at GRC last year right? Didn't Lex Cath win that game by about 30?

I don't think the gym will matter as much as LexCath's pressure.

They don't even realize GRC gets same refs for home games as Lexington Catholic does. 10th and 11th are same people.

We have seen lots of pressure from the Nationally ranked teams we have played. What does concern me is that Catholic will wear you down. They run 10 players in and out all the time. You may stay up with them 3 quarters, but the 4th they pull away.

Now comparing last years team, we needed more leadership at the PG, which we have in Bopper Stenzel. Also our lack of depth hurt us last year. We have improved in both of those areas. Will it be enough to get a win on the road against Lexington Catholic? We will see.
