Holmes does not have an answer for Stauffer. Look for him to have a big night!

 

Stauffer may be the biggest guy on the court, but Dontel Rice will hold his own. His athleticism and length will bother Stauffer.

I like Ryle's chances in this one! Ryle is too big and physical for Holmes.

 

Big? Outside of Stauffer and Vollet, Ryle pretty much runs three guards at all times, with none being over 6'1. Ryle may be physical, but Holmes will counter that with speed, athleticism, and quickness. Tough to play physical defense in an uptempo game.

BTW every team needs a Zach Perkins.

I think if Ryle can block out and allow 1 shot it will help but i dont see anyone stopping Holmes on the board they are to quick and know how to rebound on the offensive boards. I see Holmes by 15 and it happens in the 4th quarter.

Ryle beat Holmes last year, at Holmes. I look for this one to come down to the last possession.

Ryle will need to keep their bigs out of foul trouble. If they loose Vollet or Stauffer to fouls then Holmes will run away. I think it stays close and Holmes pulls away late taking advantage of their speed. If Chris Hayes is not hitting shots though, Holmes may struggle. This should be a very fun game.

I was equally impressed with the energy this kid brings. I saw him play and said that I would take 5 like him and play anybody. He never stopped hustling and was all over the floor.
