I would love to hear about all the "great success" that Cooper has had .... not to knock it .. but they haven't even been around long enough to have "great success". Pretty sure that they still haven't won a district game?

 

Guess you was not there when Cooper was tied with Ryle in the 4th or going to overtime with CCH . Maybe you was not there when they were 1 yard from beating Conner . All in there 3rd year guess thats not great success in your book but it is in mine!!

I think that most people on here talked all season about how this district was pretty close (with the exception of Ryle). Heck, Cooper played a lot of the same teams close in 2009 (compared to 2010).

 

Here is a question ... who will take the place of Bradley--and will that player have anywhere near the impact that he did (because he was a HUGE part of the offense).

 

You can say what you want .. but the above facts are what they are. I am sure there is plenty to be excited about at Cooper. But I think that some of the people here are blowing things out of proportion a little bit.

Cooper has made great strides in three seasons and will greatly benefit from being reduced to Class 5A. When they return to 6A, more than likely, they will be a much better and more competitive team. But for now, they have a chance to win their district the next several seasons.

IMO Cooner and Cooper is in for a great few years of football games !! Hope Cooper keeps getting better like hey have done.

Will the Boone County Pee Wee League still allow players from outside Boone county to participate ? Would this not have a negative impact on playing time for kids going to Boone County schools if their time was limited by players who would then go to schools outside Boone County ?

The BCPWFL has no ties to any Boone County school. Just because the league is now using the Boone County high schools feeding districts to fill the teams rosters does not mean that there is any relationship between the league and the schools. For that reason the league is not there to only develop kids that will go to a Boone County high school. The league is there to develop any kid that wants to play football.

I would like to see the league and the schools to cooperate with each other in the best interest of the kids and the future of high school football in Boone County. Maybe that is in the works, only time will tell.
