RB Coach Larry Brinson and DB Coach Chris Thurmond will not return to the UK Staff.

Not sure if those are the changes that need to be made? I am suprised that a cordinator hasn't been let go. But instead Joker will hire a Co-defensive cordinator. To do what? Looks like Joker can't make difficult decisions.

If I had to guess, the demotion of Brown is way of letting him look for another job without saying he was fired.

For the last several years we've had a fairly good stable of backs and we've done well in the recruiting department for that as well so I'm a little curious why we chose to let Brinson go. I know we had virtually zero running game over the last few weeks of the season but I attributed a lot of that to getting behind early and our offensive line not being able to get any "push" in the trenches.

Supposedly Brown is considering a NFL job. So Joker wants someone who can take over the Defense if that happens.

I'm not sure where he will coach, but Steve Pardue will be on the UK Staff next season.

Lockwood is already at UK. This is/was his first year.

The name Rick Minter is being thrown out a lot right now over the internet but from what I've read, he is no longer in D1 football. I know he was at South Carolina, Cincinnati, etc. for some stints but if he is supposed to be a successful DC why doesn't he have a job at a good program right now or at least in D1 ball?
