December 5, 201015 yr The greatest of all time has 9 picks in his last 9 quarters including 3 pick 6's in his last 5 quarters. Maybe Indy should start over.

December 5, 201015 yr Author Over react much? Sarcasm. That's what the Palmer bashers say about the Bengals b/c of his picks.
December 5, 201015 yr OK. So your jumping on Peyton because he's having a bad stretch and then you want to compare his bad stretch to Carson's bad season. Let's see how that pans out for you.
December 5, 201015 yr Author OK. So your jumping on Peyton because he's having a bad stretch and then you want to compare his bad stretch to Carson's bad season. Let's see how that pans out for you. Except Manning is a top 5 all timer. Carson isn't. What it shows to me is if you don't have time and/or the lead you make bad throws no matter how good you are. Manning and Palmer are on far different levels and he still makes bad throws. Also Palmer has played some pretty good games and some pretty bad ones. Manning has played some bad ones as well.
December 5, 201015 yr Sarcasm. That's what the Palmer bashers say about the Bengals b/c of his picks. I see. Sarcasm can be hard to sense on the internet sometimes.
December 5, 201015 yr The point is that a quarterback can only do so much. As a QB, you have to rely on your offensive line to give you time and your WR's to run the proper routes & make plays. When one of the three fails, things go bad. When all three fail, you look like an idiot.
December 5, 201015 yr Author I see. Sarcasm can be hard to sense on the internet sometimes. You have wisely stayed out of the Palmer threads. The intended recipient(s) will see it though.
December 5, 201015 yr Another pick 6. Maybe they can take the guy from Stanford. I believe Carolina has already written him a check.
December 5, 201015 yr Payton just brought the Colts back and beat the Cowboys! Sorry they just fumbled the extra point.
December 6, 201015 yr Author What? Either can't count or made something up. On a side not Manning threw another pick in OT for his 4th of the game and another home loss where he threw 2 pick 6's. We're talking about potentially the greatest of all time here. If we're keeping a running count I believe that's 11 int's and 4 pick 6's in the last 3 games. If the guy from Stanford isn't available is the guy from Arkansas going to possibly be there?
December 6, 201015 yr Wow let's compare a guy's worst 4 game stretch of a career to a guy who has underperformed for the last few seasons. I'm sure if you look back far enough you could find a four game stretch where Michael Jordan played like Mitch Richmond too while you're at it .
