November 24, 201015 yr The announcers are going on about how Washington's made a big comeback but they've failed to mention that Knight hasn't played for much of the first half. That might have a little something to do with Washington's comeback.
November 24, 201015 yr Not a bad half at all when you consider what UK had on the court The interesting thing is that you have 3 announcers and not one of them mentioned that Knight, Miller, and Liggins sit a majority of the half.

That might have a little something to do with Washington's comeback. That’s what I'm saying. For a team that averages 100+pts a game to only have 35 and a 1pt lead at the half sounds good to me, considering or two best offensive and defensive players sat for a large portion of the half...
November 24, 201015 yr Would you disagree? To give no credit to UW is a joke. Yes UK was hit with foul trouble, but UW still made some tough shots and got back in the game on their own...
November 24, 201015 yr Speaking of leaving points on the floor, if Harrelson could catch a pass or a rebound he would have 12 to 16 points right now.
November 24, 201015 yr The interesting thing is that you have 3 announcers and not one of them mentioned that Knight, Miller, and Liggins sit a majority of the half. Right. They seem to think Washington suddenly stepped their game up a few notches. UK in foul trouble evidently didn't have anything to do with the Huskie's scoring spurt.:idunno:
November 24, 201015 yr The interesting thing is that you have 3 announcers and not one of them mentioned that Knight, Miller, and Liggins sit a majority of the half. It was 23-13 when Knight went out with 9:30 to go in the half. UW outscored UK 22-11 since then, imo it had more to do with the lack of offense from UK than anything UW was doing different...
November 24, 201015 yr To give no credit to UW is a joke. Yes UK was hit with foul trouble, but UW still made some tough shots and got back in the game on their own... I agree, you have to give Washington credit for capitalizing on UK's foul trouble. I still find it hard to believe that the announcers didn't notice that UK was playing shorthanded especially when Polson checked in.

I still find it hard to believe that the announcers didn't notice that UK was playing shorthanded especially when Polson checked in. Yeah that's a total brick on their part. It was obviously a factor, and to let it go unmentioned is awful. Jones is pretty much the only UK player they are giving attention to at all...

They scored 35 points in the half, UK had 23 with 10min to go. The comeback had more to do with what UK had on the court than anything UW did...
November 24, 201015 yr Speaking of leaving points on the floor, if Harrelson could catch a pass or a rebound he would have 12 to 16 points right now. He fumbles nearly every pass or rebound that gets to him.
November 24, 201015 yr Help is coming next year... Anthony Davis - 41 points and 20 rebounds tonight.
