ok seriously Cottingham is not only the number one catcher in Ft. Mitchell but in Northern Kentucky. Bertke is a very good player but lets not start making a catcher controversy when I doubt if there is one.

I would think Popham might have something to say about that.

Both are good players but.....IMO.....

Pop hits better, has a better head for baseball and has played in the big HS games.

Cottingham I believe has never played in anything but one District HS game and that was in a loss to HC last year!

Cottingham does have a better arm but I would take Pop over Cottingham, as I just like the fire and leadership Popham has shown in his years of playing Varsity at Dixie.

Your right Cottingham is over rated, that why no body is after him.

I completely agree with you Marley, Bertke is obviously the number 1 catcher at Beechwood. He should be catching josh on senior night, not cottingham.

Popham in my opinion is the hardest working and best catcher in the 9th. Lankeit feom Cov Cath is he 2nd best cathcer with bertke being a close 3rd.

I totally agree, Popham has outplayed everybody. Ive heard Popham is playing OF at Transylvania so whats that say with Cottingham.

The only reason Sexton is as good as he is, is because Popham can frame anyball Sexton throws to him

Sexton has told me himself that he has had both catchers catch him and Bertke is the best catcher to catch him. Popham and Cottingham are good but Bertke is better in his eyes.

This is ridiculous this is dylan cottingham and bertke and popham are friends of mine and whoever is using my name needs to step up and admit it. This isn't fair to any of the people who read this and it needs to stop now!!!

Does anybody watched the varsity catcher for highlands this summer?

Pete Collopy- NCC He is a sophomore who can mash.

Gabe Schultz -Highlands A very strong arm I hear.

I will take the "Dark Horse" Max Kilborn from Cooper. He started catching midway through last season and made his presence known rather quickly. His conditioning regiment and his attention to detail should help throw him up in this mix.

I wish I had an idea of what the Adult to Kid ratio is actually on here.

Haha wondering the same thing myself. Beginning to question the integrity of the whole site.

I think there's a lot more kids on here than you might think, but frankly, their posts are fairly obvious. Their grammar is poor and the content is pretty simplistic. Of course, there's a lot of dads on here also that don't do much more than post for their own kid.
