November 12, 201015 yr Shouldn't we expect better than OK from a Tackle drafted as high as he was? OK is a bust for that selection. And I think saying he's OK is a stretch. I was waiting till the end of the year to see him get a full season in to make my judgment but we won't get to see that yet.
November 12, 201015 yr Besides the two corners are there any players on the roster that were drafted by the Bengals that we can anything better than they're OK?
November 12, 201015 yr Besides the two corners are there any players on the roster that were drafted by the Bengals that we can anything better than they're OK? Whitworth was solid at guard, but he has been forced to move to tackle. Peko fits your "OK" category, but I like him.
November 12, 201015 yr Whitworth was solid at guard, but he has been forced to move to tackle. Peko fits your "OK" category, but I like him. So your answer is no one better than OK?
November 12, 201015 yr Besides the two corners are there any players on the roster that were drafted by the Bengals that we can anything better than they're OK? I'd say Rivers, Rey Rey, Peko, Chad, Chinny, and Whit are all better than OK.
November 12, 201015 yr I'd say Rivers, Rey Rey, Peko, Chad, Chinny, and Whit are all better than OK. Rivers? I am not sure he should be starting. Brandon Johnson seems to produce more than Rivers.
November 12, 201015 yr It's apparent he's overweight but didn't he have his foot stepped on by a defender? To me that's just bad luck considering it's a completely different bone in the same foot. I honestly wouldn't be shocked if he never pans out, it seems to be a major trend for their draft picks. How many times have they botched the draft? I know hindsight is 20/20 but Steven Jackson and DeSean Jackson would look much better than Chris Perry and Jerome Simpson at this point. I wouldn't mind having the Blindside either. They should have drafted the right tackle for the Vikings all 6'8 240 pounds of him he is alot better than Smith.
November 12, 201015 yr I'd say Rivers, Rey Rey, Peko, Chad, Chinny, and Whit are all better than OK. They are all average players!
November 12, 201015 yr I'd say Rivers, Rey Rey, Peko, Chad, Chinny, and Whit are all better than OK. Rivers and Mauluga cannot cover in pass defense. Chad is borderline better than OK, but diminishing quickly. Whit was a good G, very avg LT. Chinny is OK, Peko is a decent run stuffer, terrble in the pass rush, so he's OK. None of these mentioned are anywhere near better than avg.
November 12, 201015 yr So your answer is no one better than OK? Basically. Chad was a good draft pick. He's no longer "OK" in my book. Rivers, Maualuga & Peko get the benefit of the doubt in my book. I like what Bernard Scott brings to the table. On a side note, does anyone know how Stacy Andrews is doing? Or where he is?

Another one of the great moments in Bengals personel history:lol:
November 12, 201015 yr I'd say Rivers, Rey Rey, Peko, Chad, Chinny, and Whit are all better than OK. Rivers and Rey Rey are horribly overrated. Mauluga is a liability anytime that he has to line up inside the box b/c his instincts are terrible, and his discipline is worse. He is great when lined up over a tight end and the play is run at him. In space, he overpursues and creates ENORMOUS cutback lanes. As for Rivers, I haven't seen him make any strides towards being the next Derrick Brooks. He misses way too many tackles.
November 12, 201015 yr Wow forgot about the "franchise" tackle. Another one of the great moments in Bengals personel history:lol: That was a pretty good draft pick, although it didn't work out that well. I'm interested to know 1.) where he is; and 2.) if he's contributing.
November 12, 201015 yr Decent draft pick. Tagging him with the franchise tag, paying him top 5 money, somewhat questionable. But most of the tags the Bengals use have been amusing to say the least. Have no idea what happened to him.
