November 12, 201015 yr In general, I wouldn't say I'm all too great at explaining myself - particularly if I want it to have any kind of poetic ring to it. Maybe that's why I'm such a big music geek. Anyway, I know it's not really answering the question directly, but I'd say I would describe it with the words of other people: Uncle Tupelo - Bob Dylan - The last one's a traditional song (I think). It's called "Moonshiner", and it's been recorded by all kinds of folks, including both Uncle Tupelo and Bob Dylan, but I'd have to say that my favorite version is this one by the group Redbird.
November 12, 201015 yr I am a big fan of Gary Allan and I enjoy his song, "It Would Be You" and it got me thinking, how would you describe a heartache? The lyrics from his chorus are... "If it was a drink, it would be a strong one. If it was a sad song, it would be a long one. If it was a color, it would be a deep deep blue. But if we're talking about a heartache, it would be you." Gosh, those are deep.
