I agree with you cnc78 Coach Herron does such a great job with these boys. They might not be the biggest, the fastest or the strongest, but they have really impressed me this year. I am very proud of the Yellow Jackets and think if they play like they know they can Williamsburg can come away with a victory against Fairview. Let's go Jackets!

You are right, Fairview is very good but they are certainly not unbeatable.

 

Good luck to both teams and may both stay injury free and Fairview have a safe trip to and from Williamsburg.

1. W'burg's Middle School program is excellent. Congrats Coach Kleinmann.

2. Fairview should win if the teams played a series, but I like Williamsburg on this night at home.

Williamsburg can score points but will need some turnovers to beat Fairview IMO.

Hate to break in on the Raceland Fairview discussion but was going to talk a second about the weather for the game and how it may affect each team..The forecast is for a really nice night..dry but chilly with a high of 75 and a low of 39. I think it bodes well for the passing game and it should be a good track to play on. I do wish Fairview a safe trip down.

Hey no offense taken here. I would love to see you good folks down here as well. We are like the second smallest football playing school in the state and even though we aren't world beaters or state champions, we have alot of pride in our boys. We rarely have the atheletes other schools have, yet we, year in and year out, battle bigger and more athletic schools, and usually do well. So I for one, am glad a forum such as this allows our little school some recognition. Heck I've seen the film, and I'd agree that Fairview should be the favorite, I'd pick them if I was a nuetral observer. But I know one thing, I'm proud of our boys and know they will play with all their hearts!

Well it's Thursday so I guess prediction time for me...Football is a game played with the heart, so I may be crazy but I'm going to pick with my heart. Williamsburg plays lights out and pulls out a tight one...30-26. Best of luck Jackets, keep the season alive!

cnc78.....your school and fan base sound alot like our Raceland fans. Everytime I hear the song "Boys of Fall" and the line in it that says "In little towns like this it's all we got" I think about our community and school. No wonder we have been getting along on here.:thumb:
