Mayfield's transfer from Arkansas, we now call him the Mayfield Razorback scored and had several outstanding plays for yards. This kid can play, what a nicec early Christmas present for the Cards

Better late than never, who knows, but the new addition just gives this Cardinals team another speed demon that someone else will have to deal with. The return of the "Wildcat" or was the case last night "Wildhog" made its 1st return since Shelton wore red for Mayfield last year. I think the overall team speed on this year's team is simply OUTSTANDING. :dancingpa

Last week thanks to a lengthy KHSAA delay over a routine transfer that cost the kid about 9 weeks of his season

I was told his Arkansas school was mad, because they couldn't talk him and family into staying. I mean he moved to KY and it WASN'T for Mayfield football come on! I know he was the QB there, but it was just a routine family situation/move.

How many players does Mayfield have on roster?

I would guess 40 something.

The roster lists 48, but, they have 51 or 52 that dress. I'm assuming 2 or 3 freshmen are now dressing that weren't on the early season roster. Still a pretty big roster for a 1a school.
