Tweet says Kevin Garnett called Charlie Villanueva a cancer patient

^ I remember that blog, he is a funny guy.

You'd like his book, too. Bought it a few years back, shortly after the thread on BGP. Just recently gave it to a friend of mine, actually.

Have to be pretty soft to cry on twitter about the trash talk someone said to you during a hoop game.

I love Paul Shirley--he's a total hoot. I can't believe he's not more famous. I would love to hear him on the radio every day.

As far as this story goes, let me preface by saying there is absolutely nothing funny about cancer. Obviously. I've lost several close family members to this disease.

That being said, this "story" is hysterical. Grow some, Villanueva, if you are going to play with the big boys.

I'm sorry, but I laughed out loud.

Hahaha

I think Charlie comes out looking the worst in this case.

Especially since he followed it up with a "meet me on the playground!" tweet.

I thought it was hilarious. For me trash talk is what it is. I can only imagine the stuff LeBron hears about his mom on the court. If I was on the court or courtside and heard KG say that, I'd have lost it.

You lose all credibility with me when you had the chance to take care of it right then and there but decided to have a tweet war instead.

Supposedly Kevin backtracked and said that Charlie "was a cancer to his team". I'm not buying that as on-the-court trash talk.

Kevin was a bonehead for saying it; Charlie was a weenie for complaining about it via Twitter.

Honestly, I am thinking he said both things.
