Beechwood next year?

Sounds like NCC keeps beating their JV and Frosh teams. Like Maxim magazine says it takes 3 to make it a trend. I think y'all described 3 straight years of NCC wins. Looks like the balance of power has shifted! ;)

Beechwood fans will take New Cath beating them in Freshmen and JV. Beechwood fans have been hearing that for years that the power has shifted but everyone knows knows the facts on that one.

So who is Beechwood playing this week?

And how many state titles do they have since I was in second grade back in 84?? That would be one. Beechwood has 9.

And who is NCC playing---hmmm must be a trend.......

The funny thing about you is that is 4 in the morning and you sound a lot like me. I have to many drinks and say things. But unlike you I post real facts not heresay.

I'm not posting heresay just asking who Beechwood is playing this week. I tell you what ask they guys (like me) that go to they finals every year and ask them how many times they would have beaten Danville, Ft. Knox, and Mayfield. The answer would be about 3--no where near 9. I'm not saying that Beechwood isn't a great program just that they were lucky not to have to compete against those teams until the last 6 years.

AGAIN, NO ONE can say what would have happened during that span if Danville, Ft. Knox, and Mayfield were in class A.

Is it really true? Is Yeagle leaving Beechwood ? Is it health reasons again ?

I think the last 7 (now) years speak volumes.......

Again, you have no proof, Those teams were not in A at the time, and they did not play Beechwood. The past 7 (5 actually) years does not include 1991-1999.

Yes, Coach Yeagle coached his last game Friday night.

Do you think Beechwood will take the route Covington Catholic did and hire someone from Ohio, possibly pulling a GCL assistant, or former head coach?

Frosh games never meant anything once they got to Varsity. I'm going way back but the 96 Beechwood team who beat Harrodsburg in the state title game was like either 2-5 or 1-7.

I've given you facts based on Frosh and JV games that the Beechwood underclassmen are solid but nothing in those results back up your claim that you heard that they have a "great group of underclassmen" and the you heard "Beechwood will be better next year".

Facts are Beechwood loses the leading passer/punter/placekicker and leading rusher and the leading receiver and the leader in interceptions to graduation. As always Beechwood will have plays step up to fill the void. They will be solid contenders again in Class A but to label them as "better next year" is pre-mature at this point.

That is a silly argument because you cannot compare a Class A Beechwood team to teams that were not in Class A at the time.

You realize that you would have to subtract players from the rosters of those teams like Danville, Ft. Knox, and Mayfield because they wouldn't be there if the school was Class A size.

It's like saying Danville, Ft. Knox and Mayfield wouldn't have a chance if Highlands were in their class.

Read what I'm saying--those schools were class A size back then. The KHSAA used to let them play up in class. They chose to play in a bigger class until they were forced to move down to class A.
