Who do you think wins Brock Lesnar or Cain Velasquez?

Undercard is usually more fun to watch, but every time Lesnar is in the cage you wonder if you might see someone get killed... literally.

Is it true that Lesnar is down to like 245?

I think he is down to 260 I know he doesn't have to cut much wieght. This entire card should be a good one.

Last fight he had, he had to cut to make the 265 limit.......no way he is 240.

Lesnar almost got killed the last time he fought.

Let's not exaggerate his skills. His ground game is good, but he's not invincible. If Shane Carwin didn't gas himself out by beating Brocks brains in, he had a great shot at winning that fight. IMO, it should have been stopped in the first round...but I'm not a referee.

With that said, I think Brock will win via TKO (Ground and Pound) round 3.

Cain will win- he will TKO Brock in Round 2.

If this fight goes past 1 round, Brock is in trouble; while Brock was able to outlast Shane Carwin, Cain is on another level in terms of cardio IMO.

Cain Velazquez is the most skilled fighter at heavyweight, IMO. I'm taking skill over brute strength.

I actually picked Carwin to beat him last time, and it wouldn't surprise me at all to see Cain win, but I'm gong with Lesnar in this one. He's too much of an athletic freak

You guys picking Cain, what does he do better than Brock?

It's MMA so anything can happen but I don't see him hitting harder than Carwin, or even hitting hard enough to rock Brock at all, as a matter of fact I don't think Cain is a better fighter than Heath Herring........he beat a old, staph infected Big Nog and who else?

Cain Velasquez would destroy Heath Herring. And that old, staph infected Big Nog destroyed Randy Couture. I'm not as high on Cain as many people, but he is much better than the Texas Crazy Horse.

It wouldn't be a shock to see Cain win, but I don't think he will. I think the perception is skewed a bit based on each fighters last fight...Brock nearly gets KO'd against Carwin and Velasquez KO's Big Nog in impressive fashion. I think Cain's win is overvalued and I think Carwin is being undervalued. Nobody in any division has heavier hands than Shane Carwin. Brock is the first guy to take a shot from him and not wake up wondering where he was at...that in itself should tell you that Brock can take some punishment. Cain Velasquez may be a better technical striker and a more versatile striker, but no way does he possess the power of Shane Carwin. I'm not sure Cain has the power to back Brock off like Carwin had.

About Big Nog, the guy is obviously past his prime. Let's not forget that Frank Mir finished him before Cain did, and Mir isn't exactly known for being a knockout artist. I'm not sure how much a win over Nogueira means anymore with regards to being an elite heavyweight. It's similar to Chuck Liddell...several guys got a big bounce from beating him after Rampage did, but in hindsight, how impressive are those wins now. From Rampage on, Chuck has won one fight, lost one decision, and suffered 4 KO's that were pretty much one punch and done.

Velasquez has certainly looked impressive at times, but most good fighters do when they are fighting inferior competition. His two best wins are his last three fights...Kongo, Rothwell and Nogueira. Since joining the UFC, Lesnar's only fight at that level would be Herring, IMO...Mir, Couture and Carwin are all superior opponents to what Cain has fought.

Ask yourself this...what would we be saying about Lesnar if his last three fights had been Kongo, Rothwell and Nogueira? He would have dominated those guys just as easy.

I still think Shane Carwin is the biggest threat to Brock Lesnar's reign in the heavyweight division.

What is the line on this fight?

Cain is certainly a better striker from a technical standpoint. I think Brock has more power. So, Cain might pepper Brock with some strikes, but Lesnar is more likely to end this fight with one shot, IMO.

I think Brock is a better wrestler, and that is only magnified by the size difference.
