Boyle co is notorious for cutting lineman. Everyone knows and I did not start the complaint, I hope that have a great season.

Carried is the correct word you said. Forward progress was stopped on the 1.

When is everyone else going to embrace the Evil Empire role thrust upon us? We are evil. I can dig it.

I'm not sure Rebel fans were the ones who started complaining in this thread, were we???

I wasn't refering to this thread. I was talking about at the game with a 38-0 lead and a 45-6 win. Sometimes its hard to see your nose spite your face.

New one on me. :eyeonyou:

Bunch of whiners!! One thing that I hate worse than some of you feeling the need to thrust your moral indignation upon us for not keeping the score under 28 points is the officials feeling the need to keep the score respectable in their eyes by creating calls or looking the other way when the other team should be penalized. There are reasons for half back passes and onside kicks, like creating the need for future opponents to prepare for such things, giving them more things to think about. Also, preparing in the event such plays may be necessary in a close game for a state championship. We don't run up the score. We haven't beaten anyone 70 - 7 this year. We take care of business, practice some plays for future scenarios, play the pups and go home to prepare for the next game. There won't be such mercy in the playoffs if West gets that far!! Don't like it, get better. Learned that from Chuck Smith. Took some terrible beatings in the late 80's and early 90's. Didn't whine - got better!!

Great Rebel, I had finally purged those memories of the Sam Burke/John Griggs era and now you drudge that up again. Geez. :ohbrother:

I do know that Chuck Smith hung up a lot more points on teams than French has. :thumb:
