I was reading some things on another site awhile ago. These fans said the refs were terrible. Hasn't that been the case every game that has been lost?

These fans said: The bulldogs were biting scratching and talking trash! Can you believe that would happen in a football game?

We played Greenup Co. a few weeks ago. My son came home with bite marks on his arm. You could see the teeth marks. He said they talked trash all night and when there was a pile up he said they (GC) was pulling scratching ect. I asked him did you do it back? He said after a while I did!!

So it's ok if you dish it out and win. But if it happens to you and you lose. The other team and fans are playing dirty. And the refs are bad.

Something is wrong here.

Also I herd Copley was taking all night to call plays and he is a discrace for a coach!! Fans were all over him. What is going on? Did he lose his coaching skills in the past three or four weeks? Everyone in GC was praising him. Now you are 3-4. And already he's being run out of town! I'm sure not from all. But you can hear the fall and outrage for this coach from alot already. Is there a coach good enough for GREENUP CO.

You brought one in before this one. He had won the state or was runnerup in the state of Ohio. But couldn't coach at GC.. Before that TJ Maynard wasn't good enough. Now this one. Could it be it's not the fault of all the coaches that have come and gone!! Could it be within the system?:idunno:

 

Whoever that was doesn't know what they are talking about, GCHS just plain got our butts kicked, GCHS didn't perform well at all in any facet of the game. The coaches did a great job and the refs graded a B+ for the game due to the inadvertent whistle against LC.

 

I for one will tell you the truth of the matter and what I just stated is exactly that, LC is a very good team and the only way GCHS was going to play with them is if GCHS performed excellent, we didn't even perform average and we got our butts kicked, just a plain old fashioned butt kicking, period.

I thought this was the most talented and best coached Greenup team we've seen in 4 years. I really hope they all stick together inside their circle becasue with Lyle and Marsh they are good enough to give Knox a tough game if healthy I think.

RP thanks for your your side of what happened and is going on. You are one of the select few that truly knows what is happening in GC. LC must really be loaded! And very physical. Because we thought GC was a physical team. Especially the running backs. I have to say we got our tails whipped too. Fairview with the new kids they had come in really made that team strong. I believe they could compete with any big school in the area. Thanks for the honesty RP!

But I see in the future a big blow out for GC in about six days! jmo

Nice to see the DAWGS play as well as they did in this one.

Greenup did not play well...period! No Whining, No blaming the Coach or the refs. It is what it is. Do I understand the frustration of some of our Fans? Yes! I don't think anyone thought we would be 3 and 4 at this point in the season. BUT now is the time to pull together, not apart. Now is the time to support the Coach and the team, not criticize and tear them down.

Not a problem RamFan Coach, calling as I see them and let's hope we get our tail from out between our legs and start playing some football, the way GCHS is capable. LC is a darn good team, maybe, just maybe we can play them again this season... They are big and strong, very physical. I think that the Rowan LC game will be a good one to watch...

All wil be forgotten after next week with the fans. You play Boyd Co. I don't want to put BC down or anything. But you should and I'm sure will beat them by 50 points. Boyd is so down this year. Maybe next year they can get you back. But this year they are being man handled by everyone. Anyway good luck friday night. And let all those fans know you need a good min. of four or five years for your program to take hold!! And yes LC must be very strong. Surprised by them. Thought you had a great chance to win it. I think you are right doc. If what we are hearing is true. We will for sure be taking a trip to Louisa. They have really been building that program back up the last couple years.

We lost 19 Sr's last year and lose 19 this year which is a lot for LC. Only 2 starters were back on this defense from last year though. Last I heard I think we are playing Raceland which is great. It was one of the best most respectful on both side rivalries we had when I was in school. Both teams were always good, physical and well coached. Got to see Coach Ross several months ago. I always had a lot of respect for him as an opponent.

It always was a great series, and I look forward the renewal of it. You had some pretty close games with Raceland if I remember correctly. It was always a good game, that is for sure.

I must commend Raceland for being willing to take on games like this. My goodness, talk about increasing the strength of schedule.

You are absolutely right about the Greenup Co fans OR. Very good ones on here! I hope it didn't come off anyone thinking that all GC fans were bad or turning on the coach or team. Any time you lose fans start grumbling and turning . Just seems to happen at GC all the time in this sport! Again I really like talking to the GC BGP family! Good people. Your always here to keep me straight and on the right path OR. lol Lord knows I need it time to time.
