It always was a great series, and I look forward the renewal of it. You had some pretty close games with Raceland if I remember correctly. It was always a good game, that is for sure.

 

By the way, Tyler Combs is supposed to be a Raceland boy (momma's side) anyway, if you would like to let us borrow him for next year's game.

 

I can certainly remember some of the best h.s. football that one could find anywhere between these two schools, these two played every year back through the 70's when it was Louisa H.S. coached by L. Varney (i believe that was his name) All were competitove except for the last few played and frankly LC was just far too strong for Raceland.

I must commend Raceland for being willing to take on games like this. My goodness, talk about increasing the strength of schedule.

 

The Raceland coaching staff is expecting great things with the underclassmen that we have right now (think 2008). You will see a big upswing in the strength of schedule next year.
