Who wins and just as important, why? Let's hear it!

This should be an interesting game, and another key one for the handful of teams fighting for position beneath Beechwood in NKY 1-A. I expect a well fought, close game next week at Newport Stadium, which could go either way. An obvious answer, but my guess is whichever team commits the fewest mistakes will come out on the winning end. The Mustangs' offense will need to be much more in sync vs. WV than last night, and their "D" will need to tighten up and quit giving up the big plays that have haunted BB teams in the past. The number of crucial penalties such as they committed last night will need to stop or they're headed for another "L".

 

Both teams coming off of losses, so the intensity should be there on both sides. Hard to say how Brossart will respond to a tough loss, as they've not had much experience losing one that many were actually predicting they should win? Both teams seem to have potent offenses, so I look for a high scoring game. No sure about Walton's kicking game, but I could see BB's being the difference in the game; as they have developed a legit field goal threat from up to 45 yds., and are punting the ball well. Predicting Brossart will bounce back and win a close one 31-27.

Yes. I don't see Ludlow or Dayton beating Walton. Those should be easy wins for the Bearcats.

I think the Bearcats will work to tighten up their defense this week, and keep doing the good things they have shown on offense. They will win in a hard fought battle.

Brossart's field goal kicker is excellent! Saw him a 45 yarder this year against either Ludlow or Eminence.
