This game is really to close to predict. Brossart has excellent kicking game which typically is difference maker in these types of games. BUT - if Brossart loses its composure as it did vs bellevue - look out. Walton will take advantage as did Bellevue

Tackle? did they even put a hand on vocke? IMO, guys have to learn how to get off blocks first.

It should be a close game. I watched Walton play Beechwood and there o-line is solid upfront. It comes down to can the Mustangs stop the run.

Did Slater get many attempts against Walton? He sure was the difference against Brossart. Mustangs cannot shoot themselves in the foot with penalties. I believe they will tighten up the run defense. Two regulars on defense who did not play against Bellevue should be back this week. Because of the kicking game I'll say Mustangs by a field goal, 24 - 21.

It's pretty impressive that in such a short period of time for both programs, this has already become a huge game in the district. Talk about two programs on the rise . . . .

I'm really looking forward to this game. I think that BB is better than shown last week vs Bellevue and will benefit mentally from the loss.

 

Walton offers a challenge in that they are presently in possession of the two seed unless we can take it away from them or throw the 2 seed into some sort of tie-breaker.

 

I wish both teams a great game, playing to their potentials with a huge crowd on hand to cheer for them.

I just hope that both teams limit penalties, and mistakes and we get a little peak at the future of these two up and coming programs. Both teams are respectable at each's strong points and it would be nice to see them go at it 110% without mistakes. I think BB kicker could be the difference he can kick, but it also could be a blow out either way, I think that either offense is capable of blowing it wide open. I'd bet that it's gonna come down to defense in the end, one way or another, but i'm not a betting man. I will be there cause what else is there to do early on a saturday night than watch a good HS football game? I'm really looking forward to a good game. Maybe this is the game that stays on both of their schedules, going into 2A.
