Bracken County will never compete with these three in the future if you go by middle school and grade school scores,which are usually around the 60-0 variety, thought BC may get put in a district with say Dayton,Ludlow, Bishop Brossart and Bellevue.

 

The way it appears Class 1A will be set up is 8 4-team districts. Beechwood, Bellevue, Dayton, and Ludlow are a lock to be together in the same district. That leaves Bracken as an odd-man out (Brossart will be 2A), likely shoved down state with the likes of Frankfort, Eminence, etc., just like they currently are.

If I was doing Class A I would make these moves

 

Beechwood - Bellvue - Dayton - Ludlow

 

Campbellsville - Caverna - Lou. Holy Cross - Bardstown Beth

 

KCD - Eminence - Bracken - Nicolas

 

Frankfort - Lynn Camp - Williamsburg - Berea

 

The biggest thing that gets me is Campbellsville has to drive east to play (Lynn Camp, Berea, Williamsburg)

Frankfort wins big against the Polar Bears.

Any team named the Polar Bears will not win against Frankfort. Eminence beat Bracken 61-0 last week. It was there first in state win. Look for more of the same from Frankfort.

I would agree, but the NKY district would have 5 teams.

 

Maybe they should do away with districts and just regions and take the top 4 out of the region make the playoffs.

I'm saying Frankfort wins this one by 40+ Points. Good luck to the polar bears by all means with respect. Frankfort is just too fast and skilled for them.
