Final

Big win for N.O.. They needed that.

They really shouldn't have won this one, to be completely honest.

And why is that Johnny ?

I simply thought Fort Knox outplayed North Oldham for a good chunk of the game, is all. And for the first half, that was true because Fort Knox kept the Mustangs in check.

Johnny,

I might agree with your statement if a football game was played for one half.

But a football game is played in two half's where in the second half North gained over two hundred yards rushing, the defense put up a number of key stops and several three and out's. And let's see there was also one North TD called back, another long run to inside the 15 called back, and by an officiating crew that called over 110yds of flags on North with more than a 4 to 1 margin in favor of the home team. And let's not forget the North fumble lost in the end zone with under 3 minutes to go that would have likely been the winning score.

So North very much should have won this game and by about two TD's in regulation time.

Since we're being completely honest !

Congrats on the much needed win Mustangs.

Good job Coach Martin.

Penalties are Penalties...if you really looked at it...North should have been flagged for more then what they got. But it doesn't matter...Fort Knox played hard the entired night but shot themselves in the foot in the end. Good luck to both teams next week. Hopefully Fort Knox will put a full game together next week and come away with a "W".

What I don't know how it could have been more? The refs took away many oppotunities for North to score and wiped two td's off the board. Homecookin on homecoming night!

There were penalties on those plays and many more...I think it's one of those situations that the refs could have called more but because NO was holding so much they decided to call it every once in a while. There isn't such a thing as home cooking for Fort Knox.

Why is that?

If they have that many penalties, they will be buried by teams in the district. Especially the Hills

For once I agree with you Gov. Jake!

Why is that?

The refs were wearing digital camo

Congrats to N.O.. Couldn't make it to Owensboro (might have been a good thing) so I checked out the Stangs. Officiating this season has been less than adequate.
