North Oldham 35 Fort Knox 28 (2OT)

Johnny,

I might agree with your statement if a football game was played for one half.

But a football game is played in two half's where in the second half North gained over two hundred yards rushing, the defense put up a number of key stops and several three and out's. And let's see there was also one North TD called back, another long run to inside the 15 called back, and by an officiating crew that called over 110yds of flags on North with more than a 4 to 1 margin in favor of the home team. And let's not forget the North fumble lost in the end zone with under 3 minutes to go that would have likely been the winning score.

So North very much should have won this game and by about two TD's in regulation time.

Since we're being completely honest !

Congrats on the much needed win Mustangs.

4 to 1? It was 2 to 1 (12-6). Fort Knox got away with a few penalties, IMHO, but North Oldham could have been called for a lot more than what it was.

Also, "a good chunk" means more than just a half. Until about the end of the third quarter when NO scored a TD to tie the game at 21, Fort Knox had outplayed North Oldham. Neither team did much of anything in the fourth quarter, when Fort Knox's lack of depth (they dressed fewer than 20 players Friday night) began to creep up on them.

I'm sorry if you took my comments personally. I didn't mean it like that. It's just one man's opinion, is all.
