Don't worry he hangs his hat on 1 thing, scheduling and acts like Highlands doesnt schedule anyone. He also doesnt realize that both teams have to agree on scheduling a game.

Maybe true, but what is also true is that the Louisville schools in question this year are playing a much better schedule than Highlands.

I would say SK ducks Highlands, and the Bluebirds aren't that interested in playing Trinity or X on a regular basis. It's really pretty obvious if you think about it logically. (You won't I know.)

You still have never explained why HHS would duck T & X and replace them with Colerain, Elder and Cinti X. It's really pretty obvious if you think about it logically. Will YOU?

I missed those three on the schedule this year apparently. :D

What weeks are those game as I will be certain to attend?

This year, which is the exception to the rule.

Here you go History, last time I posted it you didn't respond. Care to this time?

As near as I can tell since Mueller has been scheduling it looks like HHS is ducking Trinity by scheduling:

1997 Cincinnati Moeller

1998 Male, 4A Champ

1999 Elder

2000 Trinity ...opps, must have messed up there

2001 Male defending 4A champs and 2001 runnerup

2002 Male 4A runner up prior year and again 2002 in the famous shootout

2003 Boyle in the midst of their monster run

2004 Elder

2005 Colerain, Louisville St X

2006 Elder, Louisville St X

2007 Trootwood when they were loaded with talent

2008 Colerain

2009 Cinti St X

Am I missing something?

I'm pretty sure Highlands' varsity team plays Colerain later tonight; the only hang-up is that this game is being played in Iowa for some strange reason. You'd better hop in your car and leave right now if you want to make it in time.

PS Tell us how the game goes when you get back. Drive safe and be sure to buckle up! :thumb:

I'll let your internet guys tell me how it goes down.

So the mighty Bluebirds play 1 or 2 tough games a year out of 15. And we are to crown them national champs? It will never happen with the schedule they have played over the last decade that you posted. Also JB, what is Highlands record against the teams that you listed in those games?

Plus, in 1996 Highlands played Louisville St. X (a HHS win) and in 1994 HHS played Cincy Moeller (a HHS loss). I don't know what role Coach Mueller had (if any) in scheduling these two games (he arrived in 1994), but he was the head coach for these games. Also, in 1995 HHS played Leslie County in the Thoroughbred Bowl. Leslie County is by no means a football juggernaut, but it was Tim Couch's senior season (and Leslie County actually won the game 44-42).

Now you're changing your argument. You claimed HHS is ducking T and X, now you shift it to national champs when your argument collapses. When you make up your mind about what you want to debate, get back to me.

Focus History, focus.

My bad, I thought he arrived in 1996. Guess I'll have to visit your webpage more often. :D

Two easy points. 1-Highlands will never win the national championship playing the schedule they have for the past decade, and 2-they need to play Louisville St. X or Trinity every year.

I'll wait to hear back what the powerhouse Bluebirds record was against those teams that JB mentioned. It won't be that great..........

I don't worry about national championships. Number one goal is always to win state, number two is to go undefeated. You seem to obssess much more than HHS fans about the national championship. We have fun with it and take it for what it is.

Record is lousy, which also ruins your argument about ducking teams.

Well, I wasn't the one who originally posted it, but I'll answer:

1994 - Moeller (HHS lost)

1996 - Louisville St. X (HHS won)

1997 - Moeller (HHS lost)

1998 - Male (HHS won)

1999 - Elder (HHS lost)

2000 - Elder (HHS lost)

2001 - Male (HHS lost)

2002 - Male (HHS lost)

2003 - Boyle County (HHS lost)

2004 - Elder (HHS lost)

2005 - Colerain (HHS lost), Louisville St. X (HHS lost)

2006 - Elder (HHS lost), Louisville St. X (HHS lost)

2007 - Trotwood-Madison (HHS won)

2008 - Colerain (HHS lost)

2009 - Cincy St. X (HHS won)

So, that would be a record of 4-13 for the games listed above.

Actually what it means is when Highlands plays really good teams, then they are the underdog, and don't have a very good record. It is easy to be the bully against patsies.
