Final.

Kinda figured it'd be bad, considering Bourbon's recent scores.

Holmes rolled up 450 yards of offense.

Oden- 11 carries, 80 yards

Interested to hear how Peterson did. I saw he had a 31 yard td catch but am curious to know about his overall production for the night. I'd assume he torched the BC secondary.

Nice win for Holmes. Congrats.

Nice win for the Dawgs, what's their district competition looking like this year? I know last year it wasn't that strong. Should Holmes consider scheduling a tougher non conference to prep for playoffs?

I did notice two of Bourbon County's better players were on the side lines. It still would not of changed the outcome of the game but it sure didnt help them.

Holmes toughest district game will be Franklin County. There scheduled to play Dixie, Withrow. thats two tough games at the end of season to get ready for playoffs. as for Peterson last night Holmes did not throw the ball much. They ran the ball right at them.

I understand a couple of Bourbon County's players might have missed the bus, but Holmes was just to fast for them.

The Dawgs are on a roll.......

Holmes should roll their district competition like this week in and week out.

Their games against Dixie and Cincy Withrow will more telling as to where this team truly is.

Either way, good teams take care of inferior teams like this, and playing this type of schedule and district is a great way for Holmes to build confidence within the program and get more kids out.

Lickert is doing a great job down there in Covington.

Jonathon Scruggs picked up a fumble and ran it back 50 yards for a TD. He looked like he was shot out of a cannon! If there is anyone in NKY faster than him.... Prove it! Oh and he's a freshman!

I was there, kind of hard to really gauge Holmes against Bourbon. Bourbon looked like a team with no heart, no enthusiasm. I heard nothing from their sideline the entire game. Looked to me that they didn't want to be there. Early in the game Bourbon's head coach called a timeout to go out on the field to try and fire up his defense which was getting gashed.

I by no means am trying to discredit what Lickert and his staff are doing down in Cov. I love seeing the program being turned around. I'm a former player and an 02' grad from there. I'm just trying to get some thoughts on them. I'm able to make about one game a year so this is where I can follow there progress.

Holmes has, I think, 4 Scruggs' listed on their roster but this one is by far the best of the group. Should be exciting to watch him and Peterson over the next 3 years.

Hard to measure Holmes against competition like Bourbon. I think that they will make some noise in the playoffs but don't think that they can beat Boyle but who know that is still a long ways off.

I believe that the Bulldogs have a solid team this year and could go very far.

Bournon's attitude this year is what's killing them. They are good and have some good players but no one shows up to practice. Then on friday they are yelling at the sidelines saying they dont know what to do. Then against holmes all the kids came out with stars in their eye's. so they all just sat down and let them run all over them.
