September 16, 201016 yr Brilliant cross promotion by CBS. They premiere it during the start of the NFL season and gets the FOX pregame show people talking about his appearance on a CBS show. Then, CBS gets to promote Johnson during the NFL broadcasts. Brilliant move by CBS
September 16, 201016 yr JJ has apparently been trying to get on Survivor for a while now. Could not pass the physical due to elevated blood pressure. Looked like he had a rough first night on the show. Don't see him lasting long, but who knows. Should of played the Medallion of Power, not smart.

The oldies are gonna have to take any win they can get and that would have been a big moral boost for them. I also like the idea of the Medallion of Power throughout this Survivor. Its a nice little twist to the game.
September 16, 201016 yr I don't think I would have used the medallion during that challenge. Sure they get an extra bucket of water but that doesn't guarantee they are able to finish the puzzle first. I'm glad JJ wasn't booted, he's not going to win the million so he's no risk if you ask me. Take him along for the ride, listen to some of his stories and let him get booted after the merge.

September 16, 201016 yr I didn't read any posts in this thread yet because I haven't watched last nights episode just yet. I am an avid Survivor fan and haven't missed an episode just yet (I usually watch them online a day or two later). We just got the internet in our new apt yesterday, so hopefully I will be checking back in soon.

September 28, 201016 yr I would think it would go without saying for most, but I'm ready for NaOnka to be off and I'll leave my comments to that. I like the addition of the Power Medallion. After 21 seasons, the producers still find new ways to throw random kinks in the game.
