I believe that the rumor that Greenup County is dropping Raceland from their schedule to be just that...RUMOR. I spoke with several booster parents last night and they had not heard anything about this...several calls will be made today to clarify.

This is 100% false...I spent several hours with Coach Maynard before & after the Greenup Co. game & he has not received one phone call from anyone at Greenup Co. trying to renew the contract for this series. He did say he'd love to actually get a phone call from Mr. Dunaway confirming or canceling the series since it has been on the table for quite sometime now.

 

The holdup isn't on the Raceland end, I can promise you that, & I don't think Coach Maynard is hard to find.

I have to say that no one from Greenup has called to make scheduling arrangements. I hate to say that someone gave you false information, but apparently someone is mistaken. I'm pretty sure Coach Copley was even asked last night if the contract was going to be signed, he did not answer.

Also, I am pretty sure Boyd County has already confirmed that they will not be signing a new contract with Raceland. That's one confirmed. Waiting on the other two.
