Kentucky Scrimmages in Windsor

Featured Replies

I figured this way we could talk about the games without the thread being closed since its not about one specific game.

I plan on tuning in tonight again, this time with my father. Hoping to see the same type of play, but maybe a little better defense in the first half.

What were your initial thoughts on this team from last night?

Maybe it's because it's so early and baseball season is still going strong, and football is just starting up, but I could not bring myself to be able to watch for more than a minute or two at a time. I tried, just couldn't get into it in the least.

Haha, well I watched every second. Probably because the Reds had a day game, and NFL Network decided not to show the game at my house. It got me excited though lol.

Cats will probably be even more short handed tonight, with Jones out. Cats will be playing back to back against a fresh team, might hurt them a little in the second half. Cats by 27.

Terrence Jones out for about a month with a stress fracture in his rib.

I was a little suprised that he played last night to begin with.

Wow. I thought it was a shoulder and a sore ankle.

The rib issue was why he was getting pain in his shoulder, apparently.

I watched 90% of the game, and enjoyed it. Knight and Miller made it pretty entertaining IMO. It was just good to see some of the new players in a college setting and playing together. I expect Poole and Lamb to have some good flashes in he remaining two games.

Even though Jones just played a few minutes, I did like the way he played.

Can't wait for October and November to get here to see Kanter in action. Fingers crossed though.

Heard Dave Baker mention that his PE teacher in high school was at the game....he is my Uncle. Him and my aunt are retired teachers and travel all the time to watch the Cats play. They are enjoying retirement.:D

That's awesome, goldie! :thumb: My kind of retirement!

Cats in white practice jerseys tonight. HAHA

Knight to Lamb looks to be the play so far this scrimmage.
